The AWE 2024 Event is an annual flagship gathering that celebrates and empowers African women entrepreneurs and professionals living in Europe. With the theme “Be the Difference and Build” this year’s event aims to inspire attendees to create positive change and leave a lasting impact in their communities. The event will feature workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities. A prestigious dinner, fashion show and dance will follow in the evening to celebrate the African women for being the difference.
In 2022 AWE UK team hosted the first country event on May 21, 2022 at Holiday Inn Milton Kynes, United Kingdom. Over 150 women attended the event. Under the theme “Resilience in the face of diversity,” women shared their experiences and motivated each other. A dinner was served followed by entertainment.
