AWE Awards

Recognizing Africans of Impact in the Diaspora

We are proud to provide a platform to celebrate and honor the talents, achievements and positive impact of African women in Europe in the community. Women who have taken risks, pushed limits, and broken ground in a wide variety of fields, celebrating their unique accomplishments.

The awards reflect positive impact of African women in Europe and not forgetting our African Men contribution to the community 

The Awards are held every other year. Each year we select a theme and categories where members nominate each other or nominate themselves.

Nominee Requirements

Who is Eligible?

The Awe Award nominees must:

  1.  Be resident in Europe
  2. Permit in writing their acceptance of the nomination and the use of their name, photo and information in connection with the Awe Award.
  3. Upon notification of nomination, the nominee must be prepared to register and be able to attend AWE Award Ceremony where the Awards will be formally presented.
